Doing Good in the City Together
Welcome to St Katharine Cree's "Doing Good in the City Together" newsletter, where you will find details of some of the projects and activities that we should all be celebrating. Overall, the aim is to encourage us to join together, for our own wellbeing as well as because those of us in the City with more have a responsibility to those in the City and further afield who need our support.

Please get in touch if you want to join in with us to change lives, and you might find that your life is changed for the better too.

Did you know, because of the various office collections by City workers, this week 130 kilos of hygiene products went to support women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Thank you City heros!.

The Hygiene Bank - Square Mile

Thank you to all those who have continued collecting and those new to collecting this year.

So far this year you have all collected so much and this week we delivered over 130 kilos of donated toiletries to Hestia who support women and children fleeing domestic abuse. An amazing team who are doing amazing work. Despite being so busy they still managed to send you all a message.....

"a big thank you to you all for your support. It sounds like you have all gone the extra mile to make up some special and much-needed gifts for the women and children in our refuges"

However much of this you have given, remember, every single product you collect is a moment of change for someone, you giving the gift of dignity to an individual. Whether you can collect a few products or a lot, lives are being changed, so thank you. I would love to be able to commit to this charity and the others that in 2020 we will ensure that they will always have hygiene products. I believe together we can.

If you'd like to get involved, please email me at thbsquaremile@gmail.com or call me on 07950 010640, we have marketing material, collection bags etc all you need to help join us and bring an end to hygiene poverty. Also, to find out more go to the website at www.thehygienebank.com, also why not follow us on Instagram @thehygienebank. Please also look out for our new "The Hygiene Bank - The Square Mile" Facebook page where we can all share our stories. Also remember "doing good makes you feel good", and what better way to feel good.

I look forward to continuing to work with you all to help bring hygiene poverty to an end.
