At St Katharine Cree and St Olave's, we want to encourage us all to "do good together", because those of us in the City with more, have a responsibility to those in the City and further afield who need our support, as well as it being good for our own spiritual and mental wellbeing.
Here is a further update on our work in the Square Mile with The Hygiene Bank, a national charity focused on bringing an end to hygiene poverty. Find out below about recent donations (thank you!), the scale of need and how you can help.
See the images below showing what we delivered to JRS this month and the great work by their team to get it to those who need it
See the images below showing what we delivered to the YHA, being used for some of the city's homeless people, near St Paul's
So how can you help?
There are many easy ways you can help: - Collect and drop off some hygiene products to us if you are in the City, - Select and buy hygiene product from the wholesaler EASHO or from our Amazon wish list and they will deliver them to us, - Provide a cash donation and we will source the hygiene products.
Whether you can give a few products or more, it is all appreciated and will make a huge difference. Once we receive the products, we can then quickly get them to those in need. It is wonderful that we have been able to give this much, but we do need more. If you want to know more or how you can help, please follow this linkto find out how.
